The videos that were produced during artists' gathering were conducted by the artists themselves or by art critics or art historians. The intention of these videos were to provide historically important material for future generations.

The video presents an afternoon with the New York artists. Artists' recollect the beginning of the New York School. Staring with the formation of the American Abstract Artists. The discussion emphasized the importance of Hans Hofmann's teaching in the early 1930s and the effect on the artists who went to study with him during the post world war II era by taking advantage of the GI bill.

Adja Yunkers-Sensitivity in Minimalism

When Adja Yunkers exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1972, John Canaday wrote in The New York Times:

Pioneer American abstract expressionists - New York School 1950's


American Abstract Expressionism dominated a period of the Post World War II art world, beginning in 1945 and lasting to about 1957. Early Abstract Expressionism was associated with Action Painting. The period was later defined as the Abstract Expressionist Era. It included a large number of artists all across the United States.
